Party In The City Where The Heat Is On: Miami Part 3.

Our last morning in Miami, I decided wake up early and head to the beach. The others took their time getting up and packing everything...with their sunnies on. (It was a late one for them.) I wanted to soak up my last bits of the sun before we left that afternoon.

(You can see some of my sunburn :(. Thankfully it got a bit better the next day.)

This trip was certainly one I will not forget. You never realise how much your body needs a rest until you actually give it one. Miami was absolutely beautiful and I would definitely go back in the future.

Party In the City Where the Heat is On: Miami Part 2.

On day three we were determined to beat the rain and the clouds. Waking up early, we put on our swim suits and packed up our beach bags.

After spending the entire day at the beach we returned to the hotel and popped out to lunch/ dinner (linner?). We ate at this adorable french restaurant, Otentic. It was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend a trip if you are ever in the area.

After our meal, when we got back to the hotel, I had discovered that I was really sunburnt from the day at the beach. The others had planned to go out for the evening, but I had opted out as I just wanted to sit in a bath tub full of aloe. Another night of "Rachel Zoe Project" for me (not that I could complain, she is maj!)

Party In The City Where The Heat Is On: Miami Part 1.

As many of you may already know, I went on holiday a few weeks back. A few friends and I packed up the car and made our way the 'Party In The City Where the Heat is On' (thank you, Will Smith.) After the long journey we finally made it...and then the heavens opened and it began to pour.

We decided to just get settled in and have some much needed rest and take over Miami the next day.
When we woke up the next morning it was cloudy and not wanting to miss another day we went exploring.

We quickly discovered the Dash Miami store was right by our hotel. There was always someone there; it didn't matter what time of day it was.

After the long day, the rain began to fall once more. We decided to go back to the hotel and cuddle up in bed, eat pizza, and watch "The Rachel Zoe Project" on repeat.

Monday Morning Lust List: Too Cool for Back to School

Good Morning!!! (Or afternoon/evening whenever you choose to read this.)   How is everyone today? I hope you are all doing well. Now let's get started shall we? I mean, you have only been waiting for a MMLL for almost two weeks.

1. Comfortable Outerwear.
Okay, I know all of you are probably thinking, 'but Kennedy it's only August...' Let me tell you a fun fact about myself: I love the sun and summer just as much as the next girl, but I am in absolute love with changing of the seasons. I am that girl who will buy winter coats in July. I have always loved getting new clothes for school, going back to class, and layering up! There is just so much more you can do with clothing when you are not limited by the sweltering heat.

I absolutely love this coat from Zara. It reminds me of a dressing gown. A dressing gown that is appropriate to wear outdoors.

2. The 'Throw Everything I Own Into One Bag and Still be Chic' Bag
I am going back to University at the end of the month and I have been searching for the perfect everything bag. Something that will hold my laptop, a book or two for class and all of my other essentials.
This bag from Michael Kors has been on the market for some time now, but still remains endlessly chic and fits the bill quite nicely.
3. Everyday Footwear.
I love to be comfortable when I am in class, and I don't think it's just me. Normally, I am not too fussy with what I wear at Uni, but I do like to look nice. For me a simple, yet classic shoe can change the entire mood of an outfit. I mean I'm not going to be walking around in Louboutin's in my Ethics 102 class, am I?
The other day I was having a browse around Asos and I fell in love with these boots from River Island. They are a simple and easy colour to pair with anything. I may have to snap these babies up soon.

Another Monday, another lust list. I hope you've enjoyed my early back-to-school essentials list. I know that I cannot be alone when I say I love the Autumn/Winter months. Wishing you a great day. Oh, if you want to see what kind of outfits I am into head on over to my Polyvore. I just picked one up last week on holiday and I am obsessed.

Snap Happy in New York City.

Last week, I took another day trip up to my favourite city in the east, New York. Since I've already written an in depth post about my travels before...I decided that this post was just to share some of the snaps I took during the day (to be quite honest, we really didn't do that much. Just walked around the city all day.

There you go. Just a few pictures from the day. I just got back from holiday so I shall update you guys soon. Have a lovely day.
