Paper Moon Rising

Last week it was my best friend, Taylor's birthday. We took a little trip down to Baltimore to eat at one of her favourite diners called, The Paper Moon.
It is a small diner that is popular with students right in the heart of the city. When you first walk in, you are greeted with a display of Pezz dispensers. Each wall has at least two of these cases.
Then you walk into the actual restaurant and see all of the walls are covered with toys. Lots and lots of toys. (If you are easily distracted then this would probably not be the place to have serious conversations. With that said its so much fun to look at everything.)

The Jack and Jill (It tastes just as good as it looks.)

The Chicken Caesar Wrap (Simple, but delicious.)

Taylor and I shared our meal to save room in our tummies for the Red Velvet Cake. (Simply the best.)

My love for Red Velvet grew with every bite.

Before we left, we had a quick look around the garden behind the restaurant. Its full of all kinds of cool sculptures and interesting works of art.

(I wasn't too keen on the baby doll head thing either. Interesting, but not for me.)

All in all it was a great day out. The weather was perfect for Taylor. She got a rainstorm and some sunshine afterwards so she was happy.
If you are in the area and are interesting in checking out the Paper Moon visit their website here. I cannot believe it's July already. Have a lovely day, guys.

Oh and if you are having trouble getting over the Wednesday blues; have a quick listen to this week's playlist. It should do the trick and put you in a better mood. :)
