Monday Morning Lust List

Morning! Ahhh it has been a long week, but here we are again its time for the Monday Morning Lust List.

1. The Sundress.
In the summer, I gravitate towards shorts more so than a dress. Although, as of late I find myself yearning for the allure of the sundress. The key to the perfect sundress is comfort. No matter the look or length of the dress you must be comfortable. Here are a few of my favourites:

2. Holiday in Greece.
If you are anything like me, you probably go onto other blogs and live vicariously through their holiday pictures. Currently, one of my favourite bloggers, The Londoner, is in Greece and she has just made her first post about the trip today. I. AM. DYING. I don't leave for holiday until Thursday and I just can't get enough of her posts. JUST LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!

Isn't it just gorgeous!?

Just a really quick MMLL this week, guys. I am in New York tomorrow and then I leave Thursday for my holiday. I will keep you guys updated. Promise!
If you get tired of waiting for me to post something new on here, you can always keep up with me on Twitter and Instagram. I'm eagerly waiting the arrival of Baby Cambridge just like everyone else.

Monday Morning Lust List

Hello, hello! I hope you are all doing well. Sorry about my absence this past week, but I am now back. Let's start the week off right with a little MMLL post.

1. High Waisted Shorts:
This past week I've been in DIY mode so naturally I have been scouring the internet for cute DIY projects and things. I have concluded that I am going to take the plunge and just make my own high waisted short instead of searching in store after store for the elusive "perfect" pair.
This lovely lady made a simple how-to post.
2. Bronzed Glow.
I am going on holiday at the end of the month and cannot wait to get my tan on. I love St. Tropez as much as the next girl, but sometimes I want to feel the actual sun on my skin. I've been trying to catch as many rays before I leave by laying out. (Hoping to not burn too badly. eek!)
3. Converse.
For the longest time I absolutely hated wearing closed toe shoes in the summer. I thought that that made my short legs look even shorter. I found them unflattering. I have now grown a love and appreciation for them and now I want a new pair of converse. Mine are getting a bit battered, it maybe be time to retire them...
There you go, folks. Just a quick post for the start of your day. Have a lovely week. Its going to be hot one. Stay hydrated!

Sorry!

I'd like to apologise for not being present on here for about a week. I am in the middle of re-doing my bedroom (yes, it's finally happening!) and I haven't had the chance to sit down at my computer and write out some posts for you. I promise I will be back this upcoming week for sure.
Sorry, sorry.

Paper Moon Rising

Last week it was my best friend, Taylor's birthday. We took a little trip down to Baltimore to eat at one of her favourite diners called, The Paper Moon.
It is a small diner that is popular with students right in the heart of the city. When you first walk in, you are greeted with a display of Pezz dispensers. Each wall has at least two of these cases.
Then you walk into the actual restaurant and see all of the walls are covered with toys. Lots and lots of toys. (If you are easily distracted then this would probably not be the place to have serious conversations. With that said its so much fun to look at everything.)

The Jack and Jill (It tastes just as good as it looks.)

The Chicken Caesar Wrap (Simple, but delicious.)

Taylor and I shared our meal to save room in our tummies for the Red Velvet Cake. (Simply the best.)

My love for Red Velvet grew with every bite.
Taylor showing off her gift from me.

Before we left, we had a quick look around the garden behind the restaurant. Its full of all kinds of cool sculptures and interesting works of art.

(I wasn't too keen on the baby doll head thing either. Interesting, but not for me.)

All in all it was a great day out. The weather was perfect for Taylor. She got a rainstorm and some sunshine afterwards so she was happy.
If you are in the area and are interesting in checking out the Paper Moon visit their website here. I cannot believe it's July already. Have a lovely day, guys.

Oh and if you are having trouble getting over the Wednesday blues; have a quick listen to this week's playlist. It should do the trick and put you in a better mood. :)

Monday Morning Lust List: The Finer Things.

Morning. I hope you are having a lovely Monday Morning. Let us start this week's Lust List. I absolutely love small accessories. I am a true believer in the simple details can make a huge difference in what you are wearing.

1.These small crown rings are just a gorgeous final touch to an outfit.

They just bring a bit of sparkle to the hands. It is so much easier to dress up an outfit with your accessories.

Everyone from Miley Cyrus to Beyoncé have been seen sporting these delicate body chains. They just add that extra bit.

3. Stud Earrings:
I remember getting my ear pierced when I was eight years old and going crazy looking for studs to wear in my ears; as I got older my earrings got bigger. I have recently rekindled my love for the stud earring. They are just that extra detail that can really break up the top half of your body. I like to use them to bring a some depth to my face. I have long dark hair and I normally wear it down. So when I pull my hair back having that sparkle in my ear can dress up my outfit. Here are some of my favourites...

Those were just some small things I have been looking at this past week. Have a lovely rest of the day. More consistent posts will be coming soon, I promise. (I will get better at this.) I'd love to know what items have caught your eye this week as well. Let me know down below! :)
